Our Vision & Mission
AjanUni – which translates to “The Dream of Time” (and is associated with Indigenous meanings of plant medicines) – is a global association registered in Finland.
Our association works to promote individual and societal well-being and harmony on a material, mental, and spiritual level, both in modern societies and traditional and Indigenous communities worldwide.
We do so with the help of community, arts, nature connection, interspecies communication, and ecological sustainability, guided by Natural Law and the wisdom and knowledge of age-old traditions and cultures.

We strive to help humanity remember its place in the greater ecology of life and to secure the continuity of valuable traditions and healing remedies so that sentient beings can live well.
Our association enables an unbiased and open dialogue of cosmologies, and a review and evaluation of their impact, to find culturally, socially, ecologically, and economically more sustainable lifeways.
The strength of AjanUni is founded in a presence and appreciation for cultural diversity and a multidisciplinary approach that combines science, art, and spirituality.

The dialogue between Indigenous peoples and Western post-industrial society is central to all our activities.

We help bridge and accompany transitory processes between traditional wisdom and modern societies and technologies. The transfer of information and resources takes place in both directions.
Our activities are supported by integrity, positive psychology, and non-hierarchical and non-patriarchal practices, enabling new paradigms for creative collaboration.
We face diversity with courage and curiosity, working inclusively, responsibly, and trauma-aware.
